This made me laugh. Thanks for making it. ... Also, as I watched the beginning with the TV reporters, it dawned on me why you're drawn to make these AI-driven stories: the possibilities are endless.

Hi Alan, thanks for your interest. I'm glad you enjoyed the vid. Yea, the reporter concept, maybe I'll do more of that.

I'm pondering how I might take some of the more serious subjects on tannytalk and present them in hippytoons style. Haven't quite figured it out yet.

I'm currently watching a Netflix documentary about the cold war and nuclear weapons. How to approach serious topics like that in a manner which is entertaining, but not frivolous and jokey? Pondering...

One of the challenges of making these AI-generated stories serious is the style of the animations. They're almost cartoonish. There are ways to generate AI images that are more photorealistic, yes?

Yes, definitely can do photorealistic. There are a variety of processing models available which generate different looks. I've been going with cartoony figures because, you know, it's hippytoons. I'll probably get bored with that and try other looks at some point.

Should you wish to experiment for free in a pretty simple interface, try this:

https://dezgo.com/txt2img

Right below the text entry field you'll see a drop down menu with different models, for different looks.

The free version has ads and is fairly slow, but it gives you the idea.

Should you want more, you can upload any amount of money, and it's pay as you go. I've been working through $20 for a few months, it's pretty cheap.

Mostly I use ChatGPT Plus, which is better, but $20/mo.

To your point, I'm not sure what kind of image I'll use for more serious stories. That's a good point I hadn't thought of yet, so thanks for the mention.

Not sure this would interest you at all, but should you want something like an ancient Jewish prophet speaking to your visitors, lemme know, happy to help.

By the way, it's not called The Old Testament anymore.

The book has been rebranded as The First and Best Testament. :-)

What program do you use to do the animations? This is hilarious!

WTF are you talking about??? That's not hilarious, it's a super serious HippyToons investigative report!!!

Seriously....

The images came out of ChatGPT. The faces were animated to the lyrics in a old now dead Mac software program called CrazyTalk. (the same features may now be available in Cartoon Animator by Reallusion). All the different parts were assembled in a video editor called Hitfilm.

Glad you enjoyed! I enjoyed your enjoyment!
