He Ain't Got Nobody!
The happiest sad song ever recorded, bop bop bop, bop bop a ditty bop!
The song "Just a Gigolo" was originally written in 1928 by Leonello Casucci (music) and Julius Brammer (lyrics) in German as "Schöner Gigolo, armer Gigolo." The song is best known in a form that was later adapted and combined with another song. The most famous English version, which includes the lyrics "I Ain't Got Nobody," was adapted by Irving Caesar. This version became particularly popular through Louis Prima's medley of "Just a Gigolo" and "I Ain't Got Nobody" in the 1950s.
