Ok, I enjoy a fascination with Diane Lane, so I admit to that bias. But even so, I wonder if the film A Walk On The Moon might be the best hippy movie ever.
Your line at this point in the script is...
"Why do you say that Phil, most of the people in the film aren't even hippies??"
Ah, good question, and a fair point. What I like about the film (beside Diane Lane) is that it explores the effect the hippy phenomena sometimes had on the larger culture. The primary couple in the film were both threatened, and to a degree liberated, by their encounter with the sexual freedom the hippy culture embraced. The film seemed to address this in a sophisticated manner that I found quite credible.
Your line at this point in the script is...
"Well, ok Phil, but could you maybe stop talking about the film and show us some of it so we can make up our own minds?"
Excellent plan, I agree, let's do just that. Here’s a collection of short clips from the film displayed in a random order.
